Temple Bruer Sparkling Pure Red
The nose shows aromas of red berries and spice reminiscent of cinnamon and nutmeg complexed by hints of fresh mushroom and earth. The palate shows well balanced tannins lifted to a clean finish by lively bubbles.
Handcrafted from organic Shiraz and Malbec. The fruit for this wine underwent primary fermentation and was aged in oak barrels for approximately 18 months. At this point the wine was taken out of oak and soaked on Petit Verdot skins. Once the desired balance was achieved the wine underwent a traditional secondary fermentation in bottle with extended lees contact before bottling in October 2012.
